A young man is in hospital in “critical condition” after a street fight in Leyton yesterday.

Police were called to Tyndall Road just after midnight on Tuesday, 30th August, to reports of a fight.

They found the victim, a man thought to be in his 20s, with serious injuries and he was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Tyndall Road remained cordoned off for the entirety of yesterday so forensics could investigate at the scene.

Police have not stated whether the young man was attacked with or without a weapon.

So far there have been no arrests but additional police officers will be deployed to the E10 area to provide reassurance to the community.

Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 61/30Aug22.
