A man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following the early morning collision in Kings Head Hill yesterday

Three people were rushed to hospital after a flatbed truck and car collided in Kings Head Hill in Chingford yesterday morning at around 7am.
Emergency services found three people with “non-life-threatening” injuries and a man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
The incident meant Kings Head Hill junction between Sewardstone Road and Lea Valley Road was closed in both directions for most of the day yesterday, causing much disruption to the local area.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 7.07am on Sunday, July 21, to reports of a flatbed truck in collision with car in Kings Head Hill, Chingford. Officers attended along with ambulance colleagues.
“The driver and passenger of the car were both taken to hospital for treatment; neither of their conditions is life threatening. The driver of the flatbed was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving – he remains in custody.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.12am today (July 21) to reports of a road traffic collision in Sewardstone Road, Chingford. We sent a number of resources to the scene including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. We treated three patients at the scene and took two of them to a major trauma centre and the third to a local hospital.”
