Two teens taken to hospital with stab wounds after Leyton fight

Police were called to a restaurant on Lea Bridge Road on Saturday night

Two teenage boys were taken to hospital with stab injuries on Saturday (11th November) night after a fight in Leyton.

Two men were stopped nearby by police officers and arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

In a statement the Metropolitan Police said they were called at 8.50pm on Saturday (11th November) “to reports of a group of people fighting at a restaurant in Lea Bridge Road, E10.”

Officers attended the scene along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

A police spokesperson said that the boys’ conditions are currently being assessed in hospital. The spokesperson added that an investigation is under way and enquiries are ongoing.

The incident comes just a week after four men were stabbed in Walthamstow town centre.
