Four men stabbed in Walthamstow town centre

The police were called to Hoe Street on Sunday night to reports of a triple stabbing

Four men are in hospital after a stabbing on Hoe Street, Walthamstow.

In a statement, the Met Police said they were called to Hoe Street at 9.22pm on Sunday (5th November) to reports of a triple stabbing.

Upon arriving, they found three men with stab injuries who were treated by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital. A fourth man was also found with stab injuries and was taken to hospital.

The Met added: “The conditions of the four men have been assessed as non life-threatening. All four have been arrested on suspicion of affray and they remain in police custody.”

The incident caused several road closures, including a section of Walthamstow High Street, Hoe Street and Church Hill. All were reopened following the incident.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9:21pm on Sunday 5 November to reports of an incident on Hoe Street, E17.  

“We sent a number of resources to the scene including five ambulance crews, two incident response officers and members of our tactical response unit. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. 

“We treated four patients at the scene and took them all to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
