Walthamstow MP Stella Creasy is urging witnesses to come forward after her office was “attacked” yesterday evening.

She is asking anyone who was in Orford Road near the building between 5.30pm and 8pm on 28th June to come forward “to help us catch the cowards”.

She posted a photo of the door to her office on Facebook, where the glass is severely cracked and appears to have been struck repeatedly.

Stella is not the only Waltham Forest MP to have had their office vandalised, with Sir Iain Duncan Smith’s office sprayed with anti-Tory graffiti in late 2019.

Waltham Forest Police have encouraged anyone with information about last night’s vandalism to contact them on 101, quoting the crime reference number 7222/28jun.

Witnesses can also give information anonymously to Crimestoppers by ringing 0800 555 111 or contact Stella’s office at [email protected].
