Police officers arrived at the scene yesterday within two minutes of being called, but the suspects had already left the scene on their e-bikes, reports Marco Marcelline

Two robbers who stole £40,000 in cash from a Chingford post office before making off in e-bikes are being sought by police.
Bystanders saw individuals wearing masks entering the Station Road post office at around 5.20pm yesterday (26th March).
Metropolitan Police officers arrived at the scene within two minutes, but the suspects had already left the scene on their e-bikes.
A Met spokesperson told the Echo that no injuries were reported and that no arrests have yet been made.
Chingford and Woodford Green MP Sir Iain Duncan Smith visited the post office this morning where he spoke with affected staff.
In a statement posted on Facebook, he said: “I know many local residents will be concerned to hear that the post office on Station Road was broken into yesterday evening and is currently closed.
“While the Post Office is clsoed, residents can still access cash services at the banking hub on Station Road, which remains open for customers of all banks.
“Police responded quickly and an investigation is now underway. I will do all I can to help ensure services are back up and running as soon as possible.”
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD6138/26MAR or to remain anonymous call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
