He is understood to have suffered “non-life changing” injuries and was arrested for possession of a weapon shortly after self-presenting at hospital yesterday (9th July)

A 19-year-old who was stabbed in Walthamstow yesterday evening (9th July) has suffered “non-life changing” injuries, police have said.
Police were called to reports of an altercation between two men on Wood Street at 7.16pm yesterday, but both had fled the scene before officers arrived.
The London Ambulance Service also dispatched a paramedic team to the scene but there was no patient to treat.
Later in the evening, the injured teenager self-presented at a hospital with stab wounds. He was then arrested for affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
In a statement released to the Echo, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said the injuries were “non-life threatening and non-life changing”.
No further arrests have yet been made.
The incident comes less than a week after a 26-year-old man was stabbed to death in Chingford.
Tyler Hayward was found with a stab wound near the The Kings Ford pub in Chingford Mount Road shortly after 9pm on Sunday 6th July.
Peshman Ahmedi, 22, was arrested on Tuesday (8th July) at the Port of Dover on suspicion of Tyler’s murder.
