Uplands will take place on 19th August across the studios, breweries, and business spaces of Uplands Business Park off Blackhorse Lane

A free one-day music festival at a business park near Blackhorse Road is set to take place next weekend.
On 19th August, Uplands will take place across the studios, breweries, and business spaces of Uplands Business Park off Blackhorse Lane. The festival will run from 10am-11pm.
The festival is the first of a series of music-led events done in partnership with Waltham Forest Council, as part of the Young Creators Programmer which helps disadvantaged and financially struggling young people aged 16-30 to find paid training and employment opportunities in the creative industries.
Currently, the music line up features Denzel Himself, Tony Njoku, Peng Femme Jam, Anti-Net, Micromoon, Joe Jas, Faye Meana, Nation Unrest, Isaiah Hull and Retropxssy.
In addition to a record fair, the festival will include workshops and panels on accessing the music industry which is being programmed by Route, a company focussed on helping disadvantaged young people get into the music industry.
