Starting and finishing in Lloyd Park, Walthamstow, Tour de Waltham Forest takes place on Sunday 20th September

Tour de Waltham Forest, the borough’s largest annual community cycling event, returns on Sunday 20th September.
Starting and finishing in Lloyd Park, Walthamstow, Tour de Waltham Forest promise a “fantastic day of cycling activities, entertainment and family fun”.
No ticket is needed to come along and enjoy the event in the park, with everyone welcome.
However, if you’d like to take part in one of the guided or self-guided rides, you must book a ride ticket in advance.
Self-guided rides will take place in the morning, with clear signage and an online map to follow.
In the afternoon, the same routes will be ridden with support from experienced ride leaders.
Riders can choose from three great cycling routes, all starting and finishing in Lloyd Park: Bronze – a relaxed ride of approximately 9km, Silver – a scenic route of around 16km, and Gold, a more adventurous tour of approximately 20km.
As well as exploring the borough on the three cycle routes, there will be family-friendly activities to take part in, food stalls to grab a bite to eat from and The Dr Bike team will also be on hand to check over brakes, tyres and wheels ahead of the event for free.
