Paramedics found Gheorghe Trica unresponsive and with a stab wound to his heart on Friday 20nd February, reports Liedson Moreno Gomes

A 63-year-old man who was stabbed in the heart in his Walthamstow flat on Friday, 20nd February has been named as Gheorghe Trica.
An inquest into Gheorghe’s death opened at East London Coroner’s Court yesterday (Monday 2nd March).
Metropolitan Police officers were called to the Westbury Road address at 8.59pm and arrived shortly after where they found Gheorghe’s unresponsive body lying on the ground.
Despite an effort from paramedics and the emergency services Gheorge was declared dead at the scene at 9.27pm.
The post-mortem was carried out two days later stating the cause of death was a stab wound to the heart.
Senior Coroner Graeme Irvine said: “It seems to me this signifies an unnatural cause of death and as such triggers an inquest.”
The inquest may be suspended whilst pending the outcome of criminal proceedings.
The investigation is being led by homicide detectives from the Met’s specialist crime command, who continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
Eugeniu Neamtu, 58, also of Westbury Road, was charged with Gheorge’s murder on Monday 23rd February.
Three other men – two of which are in their 20s and another in his 50s – who were arrested on suspicion of murder were released with no further action.
