On the 22nd of June, Fellowship Square will boast food and craft stalls, music and dance performances, workshops, and family friendly activities from 11am – 6pm to celebrate Waltham Forest’s Afro-Caribbean community.
In memory and support of the Windrush generation, Waltham Forest’s third annual festival will commemorate its legacy in Britain’s cultural fabric. Partnering with 16 community groups, organisers boast of an ‘exciting programme’.

The festival also aims to educate people of the systemic issues from societal racism through events hosted by community groups. These include educational workshops with the Waltham Forest Twinning Association, the Unheard Stories exhibit with Age UK, and a film screening and Q&A with Alison Ray.
There will be additional activities for children such as face painting, games, and inflatables.
