Nine pubs in Waltham Forest will be dubbed among the UK’s best in next year’s Good Beer Guide.
The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) surveys 4,500 pubs up and down the country to pick the best for their annual guide.
A total of 13 pubs across east London were picked for the 49th edition next year, of which more than half were in Waltham Forest.
Every area is represented by at least one pub, although the majority of victorious boozers are located in the south of the borough.

In Leytonstone, CAMRA picked the North Star in Browning Road, the Northcote Arms in Grove Green Road and the Red Lion in High Road.
In Leyton, the Leyton Orient Supporters Club and Echo favourite Coach & Horses, based in the High Road, were also selected for the guide.
In Walthamstow, the Bell in Forest Road and the Olde Rose & Crown in Hoe Street made the list.
To the north of the borough, The Kings Head in King’s Head Hill represents Chingford, while the Stag & Lantern pub in The Broadway represents Highams Park.
An earlier version of this article mistakenly failed to include the two pubs in Walthamstow – we’re sorry Stow!
