The comprehensive platform will be free to local Better members and £9.50 per month to non-members

Local leisure centre provider GLL has launched a new digital health and wellbeing platform Live Better for residents of Waltham Forest who do not live near a Better Leisure Centre or do not wish to attend a gym in person.
The comprehensive platform will be free to local Better members and £9.50 per month to non-members.
The platform offers a wide range of features including fitness classes, a personal health coach that can offer support with nutrition, movement, sleep and mental wellbeing, as well as health consultations, discounts, and even a GP consultation and prescription service.
Daniel O’Connor, GLL Partnership Manager, says: “As a charitable social enterprise with communities at our heart, GLL’s mission is to improve the physical, mental and social wellbeing of our local communities.
“We know that working out at home increases total exercise frequency and helps people get more movement into their daily routine, so our new Live Better platform will help us to support people who may not typically be able to access traditional leisure facilities.
“The platform will provide customers with access to services that would typically cost much more if purchased separately, so it is hoped that the Live Better platform will also help hard to reach groups who may struggle to take part in exercise for physical, social or economic reasons.”
