The Blackhorse Beer Mile Christmas Party returns on Saturday, 6th December for a one-day celebration of craft beer, cocktails, music and festive fun.

From midday until the early hours, Blackhorse Lane will be buzzing with Christmas cheer as local favourites Big Penny Social, Signature Brew, Pretty Decent, Exale, Renegade Urban Winery, Burnt Faith Distillery, Borough Wines, East London Brewing Co and 40FT Brewery join forces for the ultimate E17 Christmas party.

Visitors can explore the Beer Mile in any order, discovering Walthamstow’s best breweries, taprooms, distilleries and wineries, each just a short wander apart.

Big Penny Social will be transformed into a festive playground, filled with the scent of pine from its annual Christmas Tree Market and packed with entertainment.

The nine-piece Brass Funkeys will get the evening started with their high-energy New Orleans-style brass set, before the Big Penny DJs take over for the Merry Drop, a festive version of E17’s biggest weekly party ‘The Penny Drop’, finishing at  1am.

Adults can head upstairs to Flukes for darts, karaoke, shuffleboard and pool in the vintage-style games hall, while groups can take to the curling lanes in Walthamstow Curling Lounge, a disco-themed festive lounge.

Alongside Big Penny’s popular in-house brews, there will be guest beers, comforting winter warmers and seasonal cocktails created especially for the occasion.

Pretty Decent will be turning up the volume with ‘It’s All About That ‘Baste’, a day filled with party bangers and Christmas favourites. As evening falls, DJs will bring a festive two-step of Garage and UK ‘baste’ classics, while guests enjoy cocktail specials, mulled wine and Hot Milk Stout.

Exale is promising big, bold and brilliantly festive fun with a live Mariachi band bringing a fiesta twist to the season, followed by DJ Before Diana Died spinning 1990s favourites into the early hours. Expect festive cocktails, great beer and the joyful atmosphere the Beer Mile is famous for.

Renegade Urban Winery will host its much-loved Festive Market from 12 to 6 pm, showcasing gifts and produce from local makers including Hermanos coffee, handmade homeware, art, jams, chutneys and Renegade’s own wine.

A live steel brass band will provide the soundtrack, while visitors enjoy mulled and seasonal wines, winter cocktails and comforting food. The celebrations continue into the evening with tables available in the mezzanine to enjoy Renegade’s special festive food and drink menu.

Burnt Faith Brandy House will be embracing the season with a full line-up of festive entertainment. Visitors can dive into a Christmas Funfair complete with games and surprises, enjoy a curated Winter Cocktail Menu, and sample guest craft beers created especially for the occasion. It’s set to be a lively stop on the mile, blending Burnt Faith’s signature personality with plenty of Christmas sparkle.

Signature Brew will be bringing the party energy with live performances throughout the day, including a special Christmas singalong from Jade Goddard and sets from Turncoat Billy, with more acts still to be announced. Guests can tuck into food from Los Gordos Tacos and Colombian Fried Chicken, while enjoying a Christmas beer special, mulled wine and mulled cider.
