A 36-year-old woman was shot in Howard Road in September but her injuries were not life-threatening

Two men have been charged with conspiracy to murder after a shooting in Walthamstow.
Police were called at 00.17am on Monday, 29th September to reports of gunshots in Howard Road, Walthamstow.
A 36-year-old woman was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital, where her injuries were deemed not life-threatening or life-changing.
Demaine Mason, aged 35 and of no fixed address, was arrested on Tuesday, 28th October and was charged on the same day with conspiracy to murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He remains in custody.
Mohammed Kashif, aged 20 and of Calshot Road, Birmingham, was charged today (Thursday 6th) with conspiracy to murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He remains in custody.
Officers continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 74/29Sept. Alternatively, to remain anonymous, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
