The Walthamstow shopping centre will be hosting a special ‘Spook Fest’ for families and kids over the half term holiday

Things are getting spooky at 17&Central as the shopping centre gears up for Halloween.
For five days over the half-term holiday (29th October – 2nd November) the Cosy Room in CRATE Walthamstow will be hosting a very special Spook Fest.
Across the five days, the centre will be running 30-minute sessions where little ones can settle onto beanbags for spooky storytime, which will involve fun props and playful audience interaction. They can also compete in the spooktacular vampires vs werewolves game and join the high-energy Monster Mash disco, learning fun monster-inspired dance, moves alongside the Halloween performers.
The family-friendly activity, which will run from 11am-4pm every day, features spooky tales and monster grooves and is suitable for small children. With colourful music, lively décor and interactive hosts, it’s designed to be exciting but never scary.
All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the sessions. “We’ve got so much fun stuff going on this Halloween,” commented Gwendolyne Lobo, 17&Central’s Marketing Manager. “Each session offers an engaging and memorable experience that will keep families entertained over the holidays and help them celebrate Halloween in a gentle way.
“The sessions are free of charge although we will be giving guests an opportunity to donate to our brilliant charity of the year, Samaritans. To take part in our Halloween activity, look out for the colourful, themed arch at the bottom of the stairs and make your way up to the Cosy Room at CRATE on the first floor of the shopping centre Halloween costumes are optional but always appreciated – we love seeing the little ones dressed up.”
