Man brought to safety after standing on Chingford roof

Emergency services brought the man to safety at 11.30am this morning (15th July)

A man who had been threatening to jump off a roof in Chingford this morning was brought to safety by emergency services.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to the scene in Willow Street at 9.03am today (15th July).

The London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade also attended and he was brought to safety at around 11.30am.

The Echo understands the incident was mental health related.
