A young woman is fighting for life in hospital after a crash in Leyton last weekend.

The 29-year-old was walking in Vicarage Road shortly before 4pm on Saturday, 30th April, when she was hit by a car.

While the driver stopped at the scene, police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash, particularly anyone with dash-cam footage.

The woman was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service, where she remains in critical condition.

Contact police on 101, or tweet @MetCC, quoting CAD 450130Apr.
