We are an independent community newspaper for the London borough of Waltham Forest. Waltham Forest Echo is published by Social Spider CIC on behalf of WFWellComm CIC, a social enterprise formed by charities and social enterprises based in Waltham Forest.

Why we collect personal data

If you sign up to our newsletter we will collect basic identification information such as your name and contact details. This will be used for:

Electronic delivery of emails, newsletters and any other internally generated information relating to the content of the newspaper, and to keep you informed of upcoming editorial meetings and events.

Our mailing database is stored via Mailchimp. You may unsubscribe and/or have your details deleted at any time.
Membership of Waltham Forest Echo is dealt with via GoCardless, which stores your billing information. Please be aware that all transactions are subject to GoCardless’ Privacy Policy.
Membership data is stored on a password-protected online document.

We will not sell or share any personally identifiable information collected by us to any third party.
