Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre gym to get £250k facelift

The upgraded gym will be fully available to members from the end of June

Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre

The gym at Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre will get a major £250,000 modernisation this June with the introduction of the latest state-of the-art equipment.

The leisure centre will be the first in East London to introduce a Technogym Checkup station, an innovative machine that uses the latest advanced technology to provide personalised exercise recommendations to help members understand their current fitness and wellbeing levels and help set achievable goals.

New stair climbers, cable machines and expanded leg-training equipment will also be installed, together with the latest Technogym Skillrow machines which combine cardiovascular and strength training in a single workout while providing detailed performance data and real-time feedback.

In addition, the majority of the gym’s existing equipment will be replaced with high tech machines as the final part of the modernisation programme to ensure that facilities remain modern, reliable and aligned with the latest fitness trends.

Daniel O’Connor, Partnership Manager at Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre, said: “This £250,000 investment demonstrates our commitment to provide outstanding facilities for our community and will help Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre to strengthen its position as one of the leading fitness destinations in the area.

“The addition of new high-tech equipment which offers personalised guidance will create a more engaging fitness experience, providing more opportunities for people to achieve their health and wellbeing goals.”

The upgraded gym will be fully available to members from the end of June.
