Chingford Leisure Centre is celebrating the completion of a significant £170K gym and changing room refurbishment.

The new gym space – which is 26% larger than before – has been fitted out with “state-of-the-art equipment” to create a modern fitness environment for all users.

Meanwhile, an improved layout has enhanced accessibility, training flow and comfort, providing more room for users to move, train and progress.

The changing room and toilets have been given a contemporary design that complements the gym’s fresh look.

“Our aim is to ensure that our centres are welcoming, inclusive and motivating and this new, high-quality space meets the needs of our whole community. Whether someone is just starting their fitness journey or challenging themselves to reach new goals, this upgrade has been designed with them in mind.”
