Locals invited to set up a stall at The Big Local Summer Fair

Organisers of the summer fair on Sunday 18th August are looking for volunteers to help with litter-picking, activities, event set-up and pack down, writes Rana Rastegari

Organisers of The Big Local Summer Fair, hosted by St James Street Big Local and William Morris Local are looking for volunteers and stall-holders.

The fair will take place on Sunday 18th August from 11am to 4pm and highlights will include stalls, activities and live entertainment for locals and families.

The event is also open to taking volunteers and local residents can reach out regarding various roles such as stewarding, litter picking, activities, event set-up and event pack down.

In addition to volunteering opportunities there are paid opportunities for local residents to bring their activities to business to the fair.

From wellbeing practices, dance, yoga to football and basketball clubs, residents are encouraged to get involved with the fair with promises to be a fun-filled day for the entire family.

Stalls can also be requested for pre-prepared foods, drinks, handmade goods or local groups and charities. This will give residents a chance to advertise their brands and business during the fair.

To volunteer, residents can apply here, to request a stall go here and to run an activity go here
