Five people were rescued from a mid-terrace Leyton house fire on Saturday morning
A fire destroyed the first floor and roof of a Leyton house on Saturday morning (28th October).
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) said that an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway. The fire also partially damaged the ground floor of the Scotts Road mid-terrace house which had been converted into flats.

In a statement the LFB said that they received the first of 16 calls reporting the fire at 7am and that the incident was under control just before 10am.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service treated five people on the scene before taking them to hospital.
Fire crews from Leyton, Leytonstone, Walthamstow and surrounding fire stations attended the fire. The LFB added that it was providing support to the local community via its community engagement team following the incident.
