A Highams Park restaurant has become a favourite among reality TV producers, with Celebs Go Dating spotted filming there only yesterday.

Yaz Restaurant in Signal Walk describes itself as an upscale Mediterranean restaurant and cocktail bar and was a British Kebab Awards winner both this year and last.

Manager Sel said he’s not yet able to reveal any details about the Celebs Go Dating episode filmed yesterday but said it “won’t be the last time” the restaurant features on the show.

He said Married At First Sight had also filmed in the restaurant and that they have been approached by The Only Way Is Essex.

He said: “We’ve had quite a lot of interest from TV producers at the moment. They like the way it looks, it’s a very pretty restaurant.

“It’s easy to work around [filming] and it’s good exposure for the area and the restaurant, which is quite popular.

“All the celebrities and even the crew that come in are so lovely, they’re all really nice people.”

Last September, the Daily Mail reported that Yaz hosted a viewing party for the launch of a new season of Married At First Sight, mistakenly stating the restaurant is in Essex.
