As lockdown restrictions continue to ease, you might be wondering where in Waltham Forest you can get a Covid-19 test.

Whether you’re concerned about symptoms, or are symptom-free but keen to get regularly checked, there are currently eight places you can go to in Waltham Forest to get tested.

You don’t need an appointment, and the type of test you’ll get depends on whether you’re symptomatic (a PCR test) or not (a same-day lateral flow test).

Address: Leyton, E10 7EQ  Opening times: Everyday from 8am to 8pm Suitable for: People with symptoms Results waiting time: Up to three days

Address: Leytonstone, E11 1HG Opening times: Everyday from 8am to 8pm Suitable for: People with symptoms, walk-ins only (no parking) Results waiting time: Up to three days

Address: Cathall Rd, Leytonstone, E11 4LA  Opening times: Weekdays 9.30am to 6pm, weekends 10am to 5pm Suitable for: People with NO symptoms Results waiting time: Same day

Anyone with any of the three recognisable Covid-19 symptoms (a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss of smell/taste) can order a free home test from gov.uk.

But symptom-less people can now get access to free lateral flow home-testing kits.

This is part of an initiative called Communities Collect, which is nationwide, to help control the spread of the virus now that schools have reopened, following the third national lockdown.

Tests can be collected seven days a week, during the opening times of the following sites:

You can also collect from various libraries around the borough. Visit the NHS site to find your nearest pick-up point.
