Funding opened yesterday (1st September) and all local projects funded in this round must be completed by 31st August 2027
Residents and local organisations are being invited to apply for community ward funding in order to deliver local initiatives, projects or improvements for the benefit of their local area.
The funding is provided to each ward based on its resident population and geographical size; three council member wards have £10,000 and two-member wards have £6,660.
Funding opened yesterday (1st September) and all projects funded in this round must be completed by Tuesday 31st August 2027.
This year there is no deadline, and applicants can apply throughout the year, so long as the ward they are applying in still has available funding.
Ward councillors decide which projects they would like to fund and to what amount.
