The Blackhorse Lane beerhall will partly transform into Walthamstow on Sea, fit with sand, deckchairs and a beach bar, from Friday 22nd May until the end of August
Walthamstow on Sea is set to return to Big Penny Social this year with an elevated, retro beach club aesthetic.
Think seaside beach club – with an on-site gelateria by Hackney Gelato featuring twelve premium gelatos, a spritz bar from Aperol (with Aperol Spritz on tap), frozen cocktails, freshly fried fish and chips, Big Penny Social’s wide ranging seasonal food and beverage offering, special event barbecues and more.
Partnering with SideOut, Leyton’s pro beach volleyball outfit, the beach will also be available to book for beach volleyball, and a huge lifeguard hut stage presented by Aperol, will feature DJ’s, live entertainment and more – with full lineups to be announced soon.
Big Penny Beach Club is available to book now for summer get togethers, birthdays, family parties, beach volleyball and more, with the grand opening on Friday 22nd May and the beach club closing its doors for the winter months on Sunday 30th August.
Designed for groups of all ages, Big Penny Beach Club offers fun for everyone. Group bookings and private hires will also be available and can be combined for special event bookings with a Flukes games hall experience.
