Three live music events will be held in Leyton Jubilee Park over the end of May bank holiday weekend.

Kicking proceedings off on Friday 22nd May is Boa Nova, a festival celebrating contemporary Brazilian music.

Billed as the UK’s first multi‑stage outdoor festival dedicated entirely to Brazilian artists, the line‑up includes João Gomes, Mari Froes, Liniker, A Música de Tim Maia, D. Vyzor, Caio Prince, th4ys, Bronka, DJ Patife and Mango & Ginger, representing a range of current Brazilian genres.

The event will also feature Brazilian food stalls, including vendors specialising in churrasco, alongside other regional dishes.

Boa Nova forms part of a year‑long cultural exchange organised by the British Council and Brazil’s Instituto Guimarães Rosa.

Saturday 23rd May sees the “first ever house music festival created for the over-25 raving community in East London”. Featuring deep, soulful house, Forward Motion will be set across two stages in the park.

Finishing things off on Sunday 24th are melodic trance DJs Argy and ARTBAT who go head-to-head for a UK exclusive special extended set.

All three festivals will start at 12pm and finish by 10.30pm.

If you live in Waltham Forest, you can enjoy a special discounted ticket price of £35 on up to two tickets per festival. There are a limited number of discounted tickets available and these are on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you live in a close proximity to Leyton Jubilee Park you may also be eligible for free tickets.
