Free table tennis classes for eight to 14 year olds launches today (2nd March) and will run every Monday from 4.30pm to 6pm, until 30th March

Better’s Walthamstow Stadium gym is running free table tennis classes for children aged eight to 14 this month.
The sessions will be delivered in association with the local Tenants Resident Association for Stadium Place and priority will be given to children who live in the estate and surrounding areas.
Suitable for all levels including beginners, the classes launch today (2nd March) and will run every Monday from 4.30pm-6pm, until Monday, 30th March. Qualified coach Dan Lines will run the sessions, supported by experienced staff who will be on hand to ensure every child feels supported, safe and confident.
Daniel O’Connor, GLL Partnership Manager, says: “We have a long history working with Stadium Place Tenants Residents Association to provide free programmes for the residents, including dance, boxing and self-defence.
“With the buzz around the film Marty Supreme and we are delighted we can now offer children in the community the chance to try table tennis for free.
“We are hoping the sessions will encourage fitness and friendly competition in a safe, welcoming environment and most importantly, be lots of fun.”
