New sushi spot opens in Walthamstow

The Sushi Co serves a wide selection of East Asian favourites like bao buns and chicken katsu curry alongside fresh sushi

A new sushi spot has opened in Hoe Street, Walthamstow.

Run by franchisee Tariq Mohamed, The Sushi Co offers take away, dine in and deliveries every day from 11am until 11pm.

The Sushi Co serves not only fresh sushi but also a wide selection of East Asian favourites like bao buns and chicken katsu curry, the company says.

Franchisee Tariq Mohamed commented: “The local community has been really welcoming for our new venture and are keen to try our range of incredible minutes fresh sushi dishes. There is a big gap in the market for both delivery and walk in customers and we now look forward to building on the positive feedback we have received so far.”

The Sushi Co Walthamstow opened on Thursday, 4th September and follows successful franchise openings in Tower Bridge, Harringay and Hampstead.

Co-founder of The Sushi Co, Raheel Choudhary confirmed: “We have tapped into a growing trend for healthier food choices.  Our authentic cuisine is for those that know their Ebi Panko from Kaburi and all the sushi newbies out there too.
