Three male suspects are being sought by police following a reported serious sexual assault against a teenage girl in Leytonstone on Sunday (20th July).
The 17-year-old girl was reportedly attacked near Hollow Pond in Leyton Flats on Sunday evening.
No arrests have yet been made. In a statement shared with the Echo, the girl’s mother said her daughter was “completely traumatised” from the attack which took place between “9pm and 10pm” on Sunday.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told the Echo: “On Tuesday (22nd July) local partners reported an incident of serious sexual assault to Met Police.
“An investigation is in its early stages and officers are proactively progressing with enquiries. Three suspects are outstanding. No arrests have been made.”
