Blackhorse Lane beer hall Big Penny Social will host a free party spotlighting female musical talent this International Women’s Day.

Taking centre stage on Saturday (8th March), is All Day Breakfast Café, a seven-piece, all-female band bringing their signature blend of disco-joy straight from South London.

Dubbed the capital’s favourite disco band, they are on a mission to spread positivity and get the crowd moving with infectious beats and feel-good anthems about self-love and empowerment. To keep the party going they’ll have DJ Pamela X keeping the night high-energy.

But the celebrations don’t stop there. In honour of International Women’s Day, Big Penny Social is also hosting an IWD Tap Takeover, spotlighting a selection of beers and cider from pioneering women in the brewing industry.

The lineup includes Pintle Pale Ale, Burnt Mill Brewery by head brewer Sophie de Rhone, Crafty Apple Cider, The Real Al founded Alice Churchward, Pils, Nirvana founded by Becky Kean, and Dame Judi Quench Pale Ale, a tribute to the legend herself.
