Police are investigating the death an elderly man who was found collapsed near the Green Man Roundabout in Leytonstone.
The man, in his 70s, was found in the Green Man Interchange off Leytonstone High Road at around 12pm. Despite efforts from officers and paramedics, he was pronounced dead.
A pedestrian subway underneath the Green Man Interchange briefly closed but it has now reopened. A crime scene remains in place while local officers continue to investigate.
