Giggle Film Festival will take over the Blackhorse Lane beer hall this Friday

London’s biggest comedy short film festival is coming to Walthamstow’s Big Penny Social on Friday (15th November).
Taking place from 7pm to 10.30pm, Giggle Film Festival will showcase up-and-coming comedy talent on a giant to a live audience.
Films on the programme include Good Luck Nelle, directed by award-winning director Carissa Thorne. The film shows Nelle who, after being evicted by her landlord, has just 24 hours to find a room to rent in London.
Meanwhile tragicomedy Who Wants To Be Me, directed by Josh Harper and Pip Barclay, is about lottery-winner Sam, whose win catapults him into a whirlwind of unexpected chaos and hilarious misfortune.
And surrealist comedy Brush Me, by Nicholas Jautsch, shows two toothbrushes who find themselves drawn to each other in a heartwarming tale of love, loss, and the “resilience of the toothbrush spirit”.
Throughout the night, a bar will be serving a wide selection of drinks, with freshly made food delivered to your table, while there will be two breaks to rest your laughing valves and grab a top up.
In addition, every member of the audience gets to vote for their favourite film, with winners to be announced on the film festival’s socials the next day.
