Greggs opens Blackhorse Road store

Greggs have opened a new store at 27 Forest Road, opposite Blackhorse Road Station

Greggs has opened a store yesterday near Blackhorse Road Station in Walthamstow.

The shop will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites, such as the on-the-go-retailer’s popular Sausage Roll, Steak Bake and delicious vegan alternatives.

Customers can also take advantage of Greggs’ deals throughout the day, including its famed breakfast combinations, offering a breakfast roll or baguette alongside a Fairtrade orange juice or hot drink – served until 11am every day.

The new Walthamstow Greggs shop will also stock its much-loved Sweet Mince Pies which have returned to shops nationwide. Halloween has also officially arrived at Greggs, with the addition of new spooky (but sweet) menu items, including the Pumpkin Biscuit and the Spooky Bun.

Those looking to raise the festive and Halloween feels will be able to enjoy one of Greggs’ hot drink offerings alongside the purchase of a single Sweet Mince Pie, Pumpkin Biscuit or Spooky Bun as part of the Sweet and Hot Drink Deal.

Starting from £2.85, Greggs fans can pair one of the sweet menu items with a hot drink, including the famous Pumpkin Spice Latte and Salted Caramel Latte, as well as the Orange Mocha and Orange Hot Chocolate.

After 4pm, customers can pick up any pizza slice with any drink from just £2.85 instead of the usual £3.50.

The opening hours are Monday to Saturday 6am to 7pm, and Sundays from 8am to 5pm.

Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director for Greggs, said: “Our new shop in Walthamstow has brought 15 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites.”
