A woman in her 70s is in a critical condition after she was hit by a bus in Church Lane, Leytonstone, on Thursday afternoon (24th October).

Police were called at around 2.25pm to reports of a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian.
Metropolitan Police officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene, where they found the woman. Paramedics took her to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
There have not been any arrests made, and police are continuing to make enquiries into the incident.
