Man charged with Chingford murder

Baimolda Beibit was charged with the murder of a 42-year-old man who was fatally stabbed at a Chingford address on Monday

A man was charged with the murder of a 42-year-old man who was fatally stabbed at a Chingford address on Monday (6th May).

Baimolda Beibit, 37, of Cranston Gardens, Chingford, appeared in custody at Thames Magistrates Court today (8th May) where he was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday (10th May).

Police were called to an address in Cranston Gardens at about 9pm on Monday following concerns for the welfare of a man inside the address.

A 42-year-old man was found inside the address with knife injuries and died at the scene.

Beibit and a 33-year-old woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.

The 33-year-old woman was released on bail pending further enquiries.
