A study analysing average home attendance, social media engagement rates, and local searches for kit ranked the Leyton club highly

Leyton Orient has been ranked as having one of the most passionate football fans in the country.
A study from NoWagering.com that has analysed all 92 teams in the English Football Pyramid, has found that the Leyton football club has the fourth most passionate fans in English football. Each team was given an index score which was calculated by average home attendance, social media engagement rate, local searches for kit, and public sentiment around a team’s stadium.
According to the study’s findings, Leyton Orient scores highly (84.4%) for average home attendance, with the club also having a social media engagement rate of 2.4%.
Orient was the highest ranking League One team in the ranking, with newly Championship qualified Plymouth Argyle finishing in second place overall, and Premier League team Brighton and Hove Albion coming third.
Premier League team Luton Town had the most passionate fans in England according to the study, with an index score of 2.838.
Meanwhile, last week, the Leyton club revealed its new football kit for 2023/24, which features both modern and traditional design inspired by past kits.
All three shirts include the Puma logo and Leyton Orient crest as well as new front-of-shirt sponsor Eastdil Secured’s logo on the chest. Adult shirts cost £51.99 to pre-order while Junior shirts cost £39.99. And earlier this week, Leyton Orient announced the capture of goalkeeper Sol Brynn on a season-long loan from Sky Bet Championship side Middlesbrough.
