A local woman who went missing with her two young children has now been found.

Earlier today, police issued an urgent appeal for information about the whereabouts of 35-year-old Charlene and her two four-year-old sons.

On Monday, 12th September, Charlene visited her children at a home in Walthamstow, where they were being cared for by a guardian.

She took the children to a nearby shop and then failed to return, with police called later that day.

However, shortly before 9.30pm today, a Met police spokesperson confirmed all three had been found, thanking the public for their assistance.

This article has been edited to remove Charlene’s last name, picture and any details of her children now that they are safe.
