A ‘magical’ new Christmas show, including a Santa meet and greet, will take place at Walthamstow Wetlands from 5th to 23rd December
This Christmas, the Walthamstow Wetlands is set to host an interactive family show packed with games, funny challenges and wildlife discoveries.
Attendees of Operation Redwing will be able to discover how birds and animals migrate, navigate, build and survive against the odds before helping The Navigators put those skills to the test, designing Santa’s ultimate Super Sleigh and plotting his route around the world.
But the mission isn’t over yet: once the Super Sleigh is ready, it’s time to meet Santa himself who will share his tale of Christmas Eve nearly 100 years ago, when he got lost in a dark winter woodland, and an unlikely team of wild creatures came to his rescue.
At the heart of the story: one clever squirrel, one very special Christmas wish, and an acorn with the power to create a home for generations of wildlife.
Every child will take home a gift to remember the day, and every ticket helps London’s wildlife.
Purchase tickets before 12pm on Monday 19th October to access early bird ticket prices at 10% off full-price
