The centre marked the milestone with a special day of free activities including gym sessions, group exercise, children’s tennis, gymnastics, swimming and an aqua party

Over 100 local residents took part in Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre’s tenth birthday celebrations on Thursday, 1st October.
Since opening in 2016, Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre has provided local residents with opportunities to take part in a wide range of sporting activities.
Speaking at the tenth year anniversary event, member Keira White said: “I’ve been a member at this amazing gym for five years and I love it! Not only have I lost three stone, I have also made a lot of friends and hugely improved my mental health. I now do regular group cycle, cardio, weights, mindfulness and yoga and it’s wonderful.”
The centre marked the milestone with a special day of free activities for local adults and children, including gym sessions, group exercise, children’s tennis, gymnastics, swimming and an aqua party. A live DJ provided entertainment throughout the day and guests were treated to a celebratory lunch, as well as branded goody bags.

The leisure centre’s general manager Danait Tsegaye said: “A decade of Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre is a fantastic milestone and one we are incredibly proud of.
“Since opening in 2016, the centre has become a real hub for the local community, with fantastic facilities and a wide range of activities that help people of all ages get active, improve their wellbeing and be part of a community.
“It was fantastic to celebrate this milestone with our members, families and everyone who has supported us over the last ten years, as well as our fantastic team whose hard work and commitment make Feel Good Centre such a great place to be.”
