Families invited to Walthamstow Fire Station’s open day

Walthamstow Fire Station is opening its doors on Sunday 30th August, allowing residents to meet their firefighters, explore a fire engine, spray some water, and see the latest fire and rescue equipment

Walthamstow Fire Station is opening its doors to local families and residents on Sunday 30 August from 12pm to 4pm for a free family open day.

Families will be able to meet their local firefighters, explore the fire engine, spray some water and see the latest fire and rescue equipment.

There will also be a BBQ, street food, chai, ice cream, doughnuts, face painting, henna, a bouncy castle and more.

SEND families are invited for a special early entry at 11am, with the event being free to everyone.
