A 16-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with stab wounds shortly after midnight today (10th August) after being found by emergency services in St James Street, Walthamstow.
He is understood to have been stabbed outside Clapton Station in Hackney before making his way to St James Street.
Emergency services were called at around midnight, and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service treated him for multiple stab wounds before taking him to hospital.
His injuries have since been assessed as “neither life-threatening nor life-changing”, the Metropolitan Police has said.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is underway with officers reportedly pursuing “several lines of enquiry”.
According to London Now, St James Street Station was temporarily closed while emergency services responded to the incident.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.59pm on Sunday 9th August to reports of a stabbing on St James Street, Walthamstow.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
