Taking place on Saturday 21st June, from 11am to 6pm, the festival promises a day packed with tastings, workshops, talks, performances and community-led food culture

One of London’s most exciting grassroots food events is back. The Nourished Communities Food Festival returns to Big Penny Social in Blackhorse Road for its second year, bringing the capital’s most exciting independent producers, artisans, and cultural tastemakers together for a one-day celebration of London’s thriving food scene.
Taking place on Saturday 21st June, from 11am to 6pm, the festival promises a day packed with tastings, workshops, talks, performances and community-led food culture – all for just £2.50 early bird (£3 on the door).
Last year’s festival drew over 2,500 attendees, and 2026 is set to be even bigger. Run by Nourished Communities, the modern-day farm shop with four London stores, the festival reflects the brand’s mission: connecting Londoners with exceptional, locally sourced produce and the makers behind it.
Nourished Communities has built a cult following for its hyper-local sourcing and direct relationships with farmers, growers, and craft producers. This festival is their annual moment to bring that community together, from long-standing suppliers to new London customers discovering independent food for the first time.
The market will include exhibitors such as St John’s Wine & Bakery, Botivo, Agua de Madre, Chicha, Oli Oli Olive Oil, Cobble Lane Cured, Bold Bean Co, The North Shop, Renegade Wine, Soffles, White Box Cocktails, Community Sauna CIC, Zaytoun and more.
They’ll also be talks covering food, farming, wellbeing and gardening, and a full programme of workshops and activities including lavender wand making, circus performances, colouring, face painting and dancing for kids, a cheese masterclass and more.
Rollo Millership, Founder of Nourished Communities Food Festival commented: “Nourished Communities Food Festival brings together some of the most talented food producers we work with. It is a thriving community of food, artists and music. Definitely one for the diary!”
