Police release image following Walthamstow sex assault

Detectives investigating a sexual assault in Walthamstow have released an image in connection with the probe.

Just after 3pm on Wednesday, 29th April, a man sexually assaulted a woman on the stairs of Walthamstow Central Overground Station, before leaving.

Detectives from British Transport Police (BTP) would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information which could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 686 of 29 April.
