The roof of a building housing flats and a Subway shop partially collapsed during the blaze on Saturday (14th March)

A woman and child were hospitalised following a fire that tore through a Subway shop and flats above it in Chingford Mount on Saturday (14th March).
Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters were called to the Hall Lane fire at 11.35am.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) said the fire caused the sandwich shop’s roof and an interior staircase to collapse, while flats above the shop were also damaged.
One woman and a child left the building before the LFB arrived and were taken to hospital by London Ambulance crews.
Fire engines from Walthamstow, Chingford, Tottenham and other surrounding stations attended the scene, and the fire was brought under control at 1.49pm.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Brigade’s Fire Investigation Unit and the Metropolitan Police.
