The entire line is experiencing severe delays due to damage to overhead power lines

Update (5.55pm): The Weaver Line is no longer suspended, though TfL is advising that there are “severe delays”.
Original story: The Weaver Line has been suspended between Hackney Downs and Chingford due to damage to overhead power lines.
The entire line, which runs from Liverpool Street to Chingford is experiencing severe delays due to the closure.
TfL (Transport for London) is encouraging commuters to instead check alternative routes using their Journey Planner tool.
TfL was contacted for comment.
The travel disruption comes as hundreds of power lines across the UK have been hit by Storm Floris. Strong gusts of up to 90mph have stopped trains and cut off power for thousands of households, mainly in the North and in Scotland.
