A man appeared in court today charged with the murder of a 32-year-old woman who was fatally stabbed at a house in Walthamstow early yesterday morning.

Shaine March, 45, from southeast London, appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today (23rd July), and was remanded in custody.

He was arrested after police were called to an address in Lynmouth Road at around 3am on Monday (22nd July), after reports of a woman being injured.

Alana Odysseus, 32, was found with fatal stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Alana and March are understood to have known each other.

The Metropolitan Police’s specialist crime command unit has opened an investigation into the murder.
