Petro Bebko, 23, was fatally stabbed last Thursday at an address on South Birkbeck Road
A 34-year-old man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Leytonstone last Thursday (18th April).
Petro Bebko, 23, was found with stab injuries after police were called to reports of a fight at an address in South Birkbeck Road. Despite the efforts of emergency first-aiders, he died at the scene.
A post-mortem examination held on 19th April found that he died because of a stab wound to the neck.
Mykola Yakymets was arrested at the address and charged with Petro’s murder yesterday (Sunday 21st April).
Both men lived at the South Birkbeck Road property.
Yakymets will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today.
