Twelve female-owned independent brands will be selling books, ceramics, jewellery, vintage clothing, and more

Pretty Decent Beer Co, an independent brewery and taproom located in Walthamstow, has partnered with Made East, a local gift shop that celebrates the makers and brands of East London, to host an International Women’s Day pop-up shop on 8th March.
Attendees will be able to browse products from twelve female-owned independent brands and discover books, ceramics, jewellery, vintage clothing, and more while Pretty Decent’s resident food pop-up It’s Not Big Dough will be serving up pizzas.
Pretty Decent will be pouring its special International Women’s Day beer ‘Money Well Spent’ created as part of its International Women’s Day design initiative ‘No Experience Necessary’ – a year-long paid design project dedicated to fostering creativity and providing opportunities for those underrepresented in the beer industry.

The label for ‘Money Well Spent’ has been designed by Olamide Florence Adeoye (Sharp Txngue), a black, queer, neurodivergent artist. The design references the persistent pay disparity women face across many industries. It is an easy-drinking 4.5% pale ale brewed with Citra and Riwaka hops. Every can and keg sold of Money Well Spent will help support Black Trans Alliance.
